« Developing talent is crucial to the successful growth of the communications industry.

If you want your career in the communications industry to take off then you need to know more and be able to do more; after all your talent is the only tangible asset you have to offer you current or future employer.

Do you have all the skills and all the knowledge you need to make it to the top, to be of more value to an agency and ultimately to earn more money? If not then you’ve come to the right place. We have the people and the proven experience to help you develop your skills, broaden your knowledge and ultimately to be more successful.

The EACA International School ran its 2nd Summer School for students and young advertising professionals, July 11-15th, at the IESE Business School in Barcelona. We had 67 students from 14 different countries participating in the week-long summer school. The participants were divided into two groups depending on their industry experience and each group attended a series of relevant workshops covering some of the key advertising disciplines.

The participants also worked in international teams consisting of 5 or 6 participants on a live brief from Henkel; the teams were briefed on Monday by the Henkel brand team and then pitched back to the client on Friday. The three Henkel clients were hugely impressed with the strategic and creative thinking & ideas produced in such a short time.
The feedback from the participants clearly showed that they learnt a great deal from this action packed week: they enjoyed learning from senior and passionate advertising practitioners as well as the experience of working together in international teams. Likewise the trainers were energised and impressed with the willingness of the participants to throw themselves into each workshop with enthusiasm, energy and always ready to be challenged – all in all it was an inspiring week for everyone involved.
