Challenge

 

This year’s challenge is to create a campaign that addresses the usage of Ad Blocking Technology. As free access to information and online content is supported by digital advertising revenues, the campaign should raise awareness that advertising plays a critical role in funding the provision of free, high quality online content and services.

 

Client

 

The European Media Alliance is an informal group that gathers some of Europe’s top media and industry associations. You can download the logo here.

 

 

Target audience

 

The target audience is in general European citizens who consumer free online content and services made possible by advertising.

Key dates

 

  • 7 October 2015: launch of Ad Venture 2016
  • 16 December 2015 at 12h00 CET (noon): deadline for online team registrations
  • 16 March 2016 at 12h00 CET (noon): deadline for campaign submission
  • 15 April 2016: announcement of Top 10 finalist teams
  • 28 April 2016: announcement of Top 3 finalist teams
  • 20 May 2016: Top 3 presentations at the edcom meeting and announcement of the winning team
